Since we are on such a good roll, I decided to take the bed back out and finish the back of the trailer also at this time. Finished the back wall last night. I'll do the trim this afternoon then start sealing. I'll start to build a new dinette in a few days. My wife and I bought new curtains and rods for all the windows.

This has been a learning experience. Nothing like wrenching on cars and tractors.

Got our new globe today from Vintage Trailer Supply. I'm 100% happy with it.

I just need to find one more brass (flared 3/8 to 1/4) fitting and we will have light.

i just picked up my 68 Rolls Royal 16' trailer. So far, I'm still taking out what needs to be replaced. Hopefully, I'll get it sealed up before the weather goes bad.

Oh yeah, you can't post about a new trailer without pictures. You should have seen mine when I got started. I've got a few pic's in here somewhere of it. Mich60

And let there be light.

Works great. The light is not real bright so it's great for watching movies and it's right above the sink so we can use it when cooking and doing the dishes.

It's nice to have a light that requires no electricity. It is either on or off with no adjustment.

Now the hunt is on for one for the bathroom.

Well, it's just a few days before going up north to see the fall colors. I need to refill my tanks. But, nobody wants to fill them. And that's a good thing. They were to old, past they're inspection date. Time to get new ones. So yesterday my upgrade was two new 30lb tanks. I even feel safer now.

I was told this past week that Humphrey no longer makes gas lights or parts. I did find some of the ceramic pieces. I'll order them out soon and a few for shelf stock
