Thanks for all of the replies. We like the place and will most likely join. It is so close to home and has a lot for the kids which is exactly what we are looking for. During the sales pitch I just got the feeling she was making up stuff as she went, but I could be wrong. Anyway, thanks again and we'll see ya'll there.

S2Design. I think that my wife and I met you at the pony ride there Saturday.

Yep, that was us. Maybe we can add a dish to your Saturday night pot luck sometime in the future. My wife's cooking is not great but edible.

Mike, I will try and not remember to tell her that next time we meet.
I know how hard a frying pan feels up aside your head. We will provide the meal next time. You just get there cause we CAN eat.

Carolina N/S Banjo Creek is a nice park no argument from me on that, I too am a member. My comment was not to purchase based on promises but what you see now. Can't understand why so many people buy multiple memberships. One good membership, a good couple of camping clubs and enjoy travel, that's my goal. S2Design thought she was making things up as she went along, good observation.

2Scampers I purchased 1, one was given to me ,I bought one in the mountains
because we like the leaves in the fall, The park blocked all of Oct except
for members. min purchase price $1000.00 I can use it all year long too. The frist one broke their contract with me not settled yet. I bought at Zooland
(Banjo Creek) really cheap no dues SO thats why I own several memberships
I am going to retire in 1 1/2 years and go fulltime, 2 weeks per park that
should cover us.

2.5 million dollar water park huh?? Yep, have heard that before, and nope, have seen nothing. As a member of Banjo Creek, and if u do buy in, plzzzzz buy in for what it is NOW and NOT for what they told u it MIGHT be.

Sorry. Tommy, but there was a 80 pound limit on a pony and I would have needed all 3 to cover me. Never was 3 available at 1 time.

we rec'd a letter today from them saying that in Dec. the membership rate was going to $4995 with yearly dues of $350. Don't know if this is for real or a scare to get new members to join in November.
