Got home yesterday at 4:00pm and getting ready to cut grass and get the "B" ready to go to Garys mini rally in Niobrara Nebraska June first. The rally in Logan was a great success, plenty of good food and deserts and drinks.Got to meet a lot of great new people and many of my old friends. Many thanks to all that made this rally possible. We had such a good time and thank you to all the planners. They seemed to be working all the time at the rally also. davydd, the pictures are great. We are IMG 2582 with Ben and a wet towel (there has to be a better way). Thanks again to Jim for the extra bed information and Ron for the instruction about the TV and computer program. Also thanks to Bob and Jane for all the van information. We really enjoyed meeting all of you. Sandra

I was trying to explain to my other cyber-pals/forums what a "RALLY" is like - even what camping as an "adult" is all about. Very tough.

We had so much fun - and really it was a labor of love - Nick & Chris kept the laundry list of action steps in a humorous context.

Lynne is like a safety net - so that would keep the guys out of serious trouble with Handbasket (Jim) as the voice of reason as well.

Judy - I truly enjoyed all our conversations at each function and around the "Gem-Mine"; your enthusiasm is contagious.

David & Margaret - Southern Charm and expert hosts - and I loved the systematic guide to planning the next Rally that you compiled.

Nick - I can't believe we live in the Rock 'n Roll capital here in Cleveland and I had to be in tiny Logan to see one of the best DJ's ever!!!

Bob and Leslie - wherever you are - thanks for all your help and support face to face at events -

Tim and Margaret - You were missed a bunch! Tim-I was counting on your sense of humor to keep the egos under control - thankfully we had a few others fill your shoes in that department.

I'm going to send a few "personals" as promised - and perhaps catch back in here another time...so leave the light on for me.

Carolyn T/aka MLOGAL -

THANK YOU so much for the gifts and plaque we received at Saturday night's sock hop. Receiving that plaque, made the last 9 months of planning worth everything that we put into it - I was truly moved and honored.

I want to say thank you to the rest of the planning committee, Nick & Chris (Charles), Lynne (Lynne Jayzee), David (AsheGuy) and Judy (Qjane). You guys did a tremendous job in helping to put this event together. I am in awl of your talents, efforts and dedication to B5. I really enjoyed working with all of you. You guys are great!

I also want to thank all of you who attended and helped make what truly was the "Rally to Remember". It was great seeing all of the old friends again and wonderful meeting all you new friends. What a wonderful group!

Those of you who couldn't come due to emergencies or other scheduling conflicts were missed.

Also, thanks to Peter (thriftydutch), John (omjones) Michael (ibthebest), Dick & Jan (gotagetgoing), David (Davydd) and Bob & Leslie (Sox Fan) for you participation before and during the events. And thank you to all the others who stuffed gift bags, took numerous pictures and helped set up and clean up at each event.

And how about Kurt & Lori, our campground hosts - they are truly wonderful people. I still can't get over the special treatment we received while there. Thanks for being who you are and helping to make us feel welcomed.

During the announcements on Friday, we honored 3 attendee's who have attended all 5 rallies; John Harrop (omjones), Robert & Jane McKinney (radio man 7.262) and Sally & Ron Clyburn (Salianron). Each received a camping/travel journal as a 5th anniversary gift. I applaud these folks for their dedication to attending these events over the past 5 years.

Over the next day or two, I will be calculating the money we have left the in honey jar after expenses which can be applied to B6. I can tell you now that it's quite a bit thanks to our sponsors, the $794.00 that we received from the live auction and the balance left over from B4.

Thanks again,
Jim Tewell

Shaaron & I would like to extend our THANKS, to all the organizers of the B5 Rally, for the wonderful job they did and the FUN time we had. It was our first, and hopefully, not our last B Rally. We met many new friends and look forward seeing everyone again.

We just returned home and by chance met up with John Harrop at a Rest Area on the way home today and had a nice conversation with him. So, we're already seeing new friends we have met. LOL This life is GREAT!

All the BEST to each of you,

Bob & Shaaron McAndrew

Wow, what a great weekend! The exceptional work of all those involved and the unbelievable support from the sponsors made this an event we will always cherish, which will help us through the knee replacement surgeries after the Sock Hop. :-)

David. You are my hero! What a great job on taking a photo of every B5 attendee's Class B (except those who went to Wal-Mart)...only problem...mine is number 2614 (with garbage bag by door and mud slide to entrance)...the one marked as being mine is newer (and, therefore, better...sigh)...and you went the extra mile to stop and buy a computer cable so you could "pronto post." I promise that I will never try to dance with you again.

Jim, Carolyn, Nick, Chris...UN-blanking-BELIEVABLE! You made this rally look effortless. You had everything completely under control...Friday appetizers: GREAT...Friday night pizza and salad: GREAT...Saturday morning hot breakfast: GREAT...Saturday lunch deli platters: GREAT...Saturday night dinner: GREAT...Saturday midnight buffet: GREAT (I feel sorry for those who missed it - that ice sculpture of a Sprinter was fabulous)....Sunday donut breakfast: GREAT (and perfectly low key).

You are the rally planning dream team!

David, Margaret and Judy provided the perfect complement of doing the miscellaneous things that need to be done...and there were others (not too numerous to mention, but I don't know their names).

That Class B RV Show...WOW...it's not every day that I get to see how well Michael Stout fits into a Pleasure-Way Excel...with 3 other people already in it.

Finally...after 6 days and driving 1200 miles through 6 states, I fell down the stairs in my garage while unpacking my van and twisted my ankle. Sweet!

Thanks to all for a truly wonderful rally! We did the Chicken Dance!

Oh...and I can't believe someone else had a campfire on Saturday night. Bob, Leslie, me, Nick, Chris, Jim and Carolyn had one (on the other side of the campground) too!

Lynne, I got it corrected. I was looking for an Ascent but settled on the better looking Excel.

If anyone can identify any of the pictures with certainty in remembering your neighbors just let me know and I can edit the titles with the aid of the Rally Program.
