We got back around 2:00, no rain until we hit Akron, then it stormed. What a rally, and what a great group. Hello again to all of you and thanks so much for the gift and plaque. Davyyd, your image 2613 is our Pleasureway in site 35.
Can't wait until the next year.

We sure are sorry we didn't make the rally, but life doesn't go as planned. We were leaving Michigan on Thursday morning when Elaine got word that her mother didn't have long to live. We turned the van around and drove as hard as possible headed for WA. Her mother was under heavy sedation, and unfortunately we didn't make it; she passed away while we were in Montana. We are with her dad now, Sunday, and home is the right place to be.
Maybe next year.

We are now in Northern Virginia (Burke near DC). Wednesday we will head out for the Indianapolis 500, then home to Minnesota for a couple of days and then on to Niobrara.

BTW, the pictures in the web gallery are downloadable at a fairly high resolution for printing if you want the group picture or your B. The group picture in this message thread is a low resolution photo.

Rodger, with 48 Bs and one sneak in C Tiger I couldn't begin to put names to all. I took the pictures as fast as I could when the sun was out and didn't write anything down. I know a few more but if one wants their screen name and camp site number included just let me know and I can add the titles.

We're back in Mechanicsville, VA. Got back between 9 & 9:30pm even though we were one of the first to leave. It's a long story. Ask Paul & Nan.

Actually, we took the wrong road in Athens and before I knew it we were south of Jackson, OH headed towards Cincinnati. We turned around, went back to Jackson where we picked up US 35 that took us to I-64 west of Charleston, WV. Then to top it off, I was very tired so I decided to take a (power)? nap at the first rest stop on the WV Turnpike. Why was I so tired? That's another long story.

The "power" nap lasted about 2 hours. Before I woke up, Paul & Nan pulled up next to us. We then talked a while and then Barbara and Ben Lynch pulled up. Almost had a mini rally there.

The good thing about getting lost and then "power" napping, is we missed all the rain. We were in sun going home, but it had not stopped long before we arrived because the road was still wet enough to get sprayed with water when passed by an eighteen wheeler.

Now why was I so tired? After the Sock Hop, we were making our way to the van when we came upon a camp fire at Ms "B" Haven site. So we were there with Russell & Donna, Peter & Arlene, Matthew & Janet, Dick & Anne, and Ms "B" Haven. Ended up not getting in bed until after 12:30 am.

I do want to take time to thank the B-5 Planning Team for putting on such a great rally. It was a lot of fun. If anyone didn't have a great time, they have to look in the mirror to figure out why.

It was also great meeting old friends again and making new ones.

I will have a B-5 album posted on line either Monday night, or Tuesday night. I'll post a link to it at that time.
