The Golden Age is now called the Senior Passport. All COE's in the USA honor it with a 50% discount. The information on AR State Parks is incorrect. AR SP give anyone 62 or older a 50% discount Mon through Thur and a 25% discount on FRi-Sat & Sun.

New York provides free weekday entrance to state parks if anyone in the vehicle is over 62:
"Under the OPRHP Golden Park Program, residents age 62 and older can obtain a reduced entrance fee to state historic sites, state-operated swimming, golf, tennis and boat rentals, and free vehicle entry to state parks and arboretums on weekdays (except holidays) by presenting a current valid NYS Driver's License or Non-Driver's Identification Card. For additional information, call (518) 474-0456 or write to: Golden Park Program, NYS OPRHP, Empire State Plaza, Agency Building 1, Albany, NY 12238."
The Golden Age Passport is good for discounts at USFS, BLM, NPS, and Corps CG's from what I understand, but sounds like there may be some exceptions that I've not run into the last five years. Think there's a web site that has the complete lowdown on these discount programs.
