Take a look at Creekwood Farms in Waynesville...super nice place and about 20 minutes, via a lovely drive, to Cherokee. They are also a PA campground, so you can stay many months for 16.00 nightly.

We went to the Cherokee casino, had the buffet and dropped a few 20's. I asked my wife if I was missing something-- did she notice anybody winning anything, because I sure didn't. She said no. We scrammed. I'd say "good luck to ya," but I don't think they allow for luck.

We like the Cherokee KOA , very large sites and alot for kids to do. Indoor pool and very good pizza.

I have not camped there, but lots of friends here recommend the KOA in Cherokee.
