Good grief, these people have to try and make themselves important some how. They ought to get out and actually see this country and talk to normal people (those outside the big city) and see what they think.

LOL, fla i love your posts....

these tv elites would never stoop that low, c'mon u know better LOL
It's amazing how they even try to manipulate and spin the area's we visit, luckily we're all smarter than that

Let the "talking heads" keep touting the places that you really don't want to go anyway! I don't think I have watched that show in the last 25 years.

Like I am really going to tell you exactly where I caught all my big fish!!!!!!!

Would "think" it's a matter of individual preferences.

Wife and I just completed trip to the L.A. area, then north, along the Coast to the top of the Olympic Peninsula, back inland and from Mt Hood to Shasta and Lake Tahoe (and return to Texas).

My Wife liked the Forest, Lakes and Rivers best - I liked the Pacific Coast - neither of us is disappointed with the other's pick.

The Today Show does this every year they can not have the same 10, however the Grand Canyon does belong at #1 as there is nothing in the world to compare it to and until there is ( not likely) it should stay at #1

Really doesn’t make any difference what people think is number 1. For me where ever I am that has one of these Sunsets and the DW is “Queen for a Day” in my book.

Across the Chesapeake Bay

Yellowstone National Park in November

Lyons Colorado

Which one do you think is Number 1?

Let's let them keep choosing their top 10...Maybe everyone will go to those places instead of the ones we think are best! Less crowds for us!
