Wife and I are thinking of going to the Bloomsburg Fair Tomorrow. Wanting to take motorhome and spend the night, come home Sunday. Went to Bloomsburg Fair website and see that they have RV parking for $15.00/day but that was for advance registration which we are obviously too late. Anyone know if they can accomodate folks like us who do not plan, is overnighting allowed and if not any WalMarts around and do they allow overnighting. Comments and suggestions welcomed. Thanks!

There's also Indian Head and J&D Camp Grounds. There's also a place called Turner's. Don't know much about them.

We stayed at J&D when we went to Knoebel's, nice campground with an RV supply store and ice cream shop accross the road.

I made the call for you to the fair office. It's $15 per day for a RV & they'll just collect it at the gate. I think what you saw online was just for a prepaid parking permit.

Heads up. Prayer for no rain because it rains every year up there. And every year they are using the tractors to pull the big RV's out of the mud. It's quite a sight, UNLESS it's you needing the pull.

We drove down to the fair back in 03 with the MH. paid at the gate for dry camping....I'm sure you can do the same.
Back then it was $10. The next day went to a Penn State game...stayed overnight after the game for free....drove home on Sunday.

DO NOT stay @ Indian Head-unless you have your own bathroom. Was just there Labor Day weekend-have a porta pot in the p/u. Went to the bathroom for a shower-NASTY! Dirty, no soap to wash your hands afterward, all kinds of mold & fungus growing in the showers. Left after one night. Was fortunate to find space @ Lake Glory-much nicer bathrooms.
