I'm sorry over the loss of your loved one. Your trips will not be the same without him. We have three traveling companions and I don't like thinking of the day either one of them will be gone from us.

I'm so sorry. It really is hard to loose a beloved pet. I know just how you feel. We had to have our poodle put to sleep several years ago and just recently decided to get another dog. It took a while of grieving her to move on. Sometimes you're never ready for another one. We said no more, then suddenly got the urge. Just know my heart goes out to you.

Sorry to hear about your loss, went thru it 2 years ago, my oldest dog is now 13...it is very difficult...only time will hurt the hurt.

We lost our 16 year old yorkie(Terrie Carrie) two months ago.God wanted her back with him. We were vary blessed to have her that long. We miss her every day. Our 9 year old male(Nicholas)has been really depressed and lost most of his ambition to play, so on wednesday we found a 10 week old female yorkie that Terrie ask God to send to us, knowing that we loved her so much. This little tike has already found the soft spot in our hearts and Nicholas is making consessions with his toys.
Loosing our pets takes a toll on our lives, to say the least, but they fullfill a segment of our lives that we can't live without.
We wish you the best.

Like others in this forum kindly accept our deepest condolences. We also experienced the loss of a dear pet (a 14 yr. old Springer) several years ago. It hurt. But with old age and illness - we had no choice when the "time" finally came.
Today, we are the proud owners of a very spoiled 'Peek-a-poo' who found us in Florida last winter. Four you - for now, it's One day at a time.
