Actually there is an IHOP within about 1/4 mile of the Denneys in Weslaco. It's all good.

There is an IHop in Harlingen. On Liberty just behind the Wal Mart.

Haven't seen a Cracker Barrel anywhere.

Cracker Barrel is being built. Right off 83 in front of the new Academy but don't know the cross road. They are saying it should be open in Feb. sometime. IHOP is on 10th in Mc Allen across from Furrs parking.

Yes Shirley the Academy is new and I think it is before 10th St exit going east but not sure. I will try and pay attention next time I'm that way and let you know for sure. They are building a new motel in the back part of the lot and the Cracker Barrell in the front. Also Macaroni Grill is going by the New Convention Center.

Shirley......I am bringing two more rvers with us tomorrow.....so, add two more. Just met them...and they are interested in becoming RV.Net members, but are not big time computer people.

We will not make it by 3, as we are taking square dancing lessons from 1-3 tomorrow and then we will be there soon afterwards.

Shirley - We may be a tad late so we can stay a little longer for the entertainment. We can only be out 3-4 hours before we have to let the dogs out. Will be glad when they're adults so we can leave them all day if necessary. Don't forget to check out our windows when you drive by. We're really pleased.

The Cracker Barrell that is being built is between Shary and Ware on the south side of 83.

Looks like we are going to have a big turnout for tomorrow (Wednesday)at the Horseman. I think I have lost count but it looks like 25 or so?? There are lurkers on the RV.Net who are expressing an interest in coming. So if you too are a "lurker" come on out and meet some of the RV.Net Folks.

I think I have said before but it is north of Expressway 83 on Westgate approx 3 3/4 milesnorth on Westgate. Westgage is the main street west of Texas Street. Home Depot sits on the NE corner of Westgate and Expressway 83. It is a building all by itself and on the left side (west) of the road.

If you have a name tag please wear it as that will help us all get to know each other. Even though it may not be your RV.Net name.

Shirley
