it seems that your converter is the problem. have you checked w/ the fuse in there? sometimes the fuse is not in contact. try moving the fuse (wiggle it around) and see if it makes the lights flicker. i had this problem w/ my iota converter and it was the metal contacts not touching the fuse.

I took them both out and they were both good...checked the breakers and they were not tripped...I think its just a little out of my league...

Jeff, I just recently replaced my 12 v converter. I was seeing the surging lights and also the frig, lights and slides would only work after I recharged the battery. Bottom line was I was not getting the 13.5 volts from the DC side of the converter. The way you can check is to disconnect your shore power and remove the battery leads from the battery (if you don't you will get a false read on your voltage). Now (after you access your converter) re-connect your shore power (give the converter 2-3 minutes to cycle thru it's start phase. Using a volt meter check the amount of voltage the converter is producing. This should be about 13.5 volts, if not you need to replace it (mine was about $200 and took about 30 min and minimal tools to replace). If you are not experienced with a volt meter you should take it to a qualified dealer. Good luck.
