I'm using just about that exact combination and I would agree, go to a stronger hitch with 1700lb bars and tow it loaded before making changes to the suspension. You may decide to add the Timbrens, I have not because my truck only sags about 2.5" when the trailer is fully loaded and the weight dist. is on. It does not reach the additional leaf during normal load. I have the 1400lb WD bars and put a pretty good load on them. If you don't know how to adjust the hitch ask for help, it's not simple and the "tilt" can make a huge difference in the WD bars.
You will need at least 1 anti-sway control, I have never wanted more even when being buffeted by 30 mph gusts.
Use a tape measure when adjusting the weight distribution from the front and back bumpers to the ground, I was surprised at the impact that the correct settings had. I went from down in the back 6.5 up in the front 3 (this was the dealers setup) to down in the back 2.5 and down in the front 1 (my setup).
With the integrated braking system the trailer stops easily at the normal "boost" (5.0) on dry pavement but I do usually increase the bias to 5.5 in the rain, I don't want the trailer pushing me out of the way. This seems to provide just the right balance between the truck and trailer and helps remove the "white knuckles".
Congrats on the truck, I love mine (first diesel). Good luck with the trailer purchase.
Don't take life too seriously, it's not permanent.

I'm surprised anyone would have a lot of sway with a 6 axle TH. For comparison sake to the original thread question, I towed my FS2600, full 40 gallons of fuel, full 150 gallons of fresh, Grizzly 660, Rhino 660, Grizzly 90, wife, dog, 2 kids, couple of guns and a bunch of******with my '06 F250 4X4 through steep mountains in the Ozarks in July. Did just fine. I didn't scale it, but I had to be to the max.

cause 1,2,3 axle don't matter with regards to sway.
You put the load at the tail and the tail gonna wag
