I forget the name of the road, but it is the last road on the left---if you miss it, you will have to get on I-40 and head east or west!

Cove Creek Road. It starts out and ends as a paved road but the middle portion is a narrow winding gravel road.

Stone bride is nice,(in the heart of maggie vally, with pool)i will be there in about 5 hours for the weekend, lol, also check out Rippling waters , very nice small and a little closer to Goast town if you have kids. Rippling water dosent have a pool but is right on the creek, cool folks who run it and big campfire on the weekend.

We spent a week at Stonebridge Resort in Maggie last summer and will be going back. Wounderfully quiet campground with creekside sites in the heart of Maggie Valley. Bathhouse was very clean and a large meadow area by the creek with hourse shoe pits and volleyball net. Also whilein Maggie Valley right beside Stonebridge is a great resurant called Butts on the Creek, a must try.

Thanks for this info. We are going to be there in October, so glad to hear that Stonebridge is nice. We will also give the restaurant a try.

Up at Cataloochie---not the ski area part of Cataloochie, but the other part---down on Jonathon Creek (Hwy 276 North) near I-40. Take the last road on the left before getting on I-40 and head up that way. I forget the name of the road, but it is the last road on the left---if you miss it, you will have to get on I-40 and head east or west! I haven't been up there----I get too car sick!

Thanks
