A general question about warranty work. If you buy a Rockwood model made by Forest River must you take it to a dealer that sells only Rockwood or will any Forest River dealer do the work? I know that most of the systems are made by the same company i.e. fridge, microwave, A/C and so forth. Has anyone ever done this with a Forest River product?

I've got a Rockwood and currently have warrenty work being done by a non-Rockwood dealer. They sell Forest River products along with others. I did not purchase from them obviously. Service was a little slow at first but once I became an established customer they are great. I'd go back to tent camping before I would take this trailer to the nearest Rockwood dealer (Rv Brokers in Sacramento).
Our original dealer went out of business and another local dealer who doesn't carry Rockwoods but carries other Forest River products has been doing our warranty work.
