well the strawberries are floating !!! all this rain is not good  . The joys of farming.We will most likely lose 40% of the crop. hopefully they will rebound some by the end of the week. I think i would rather be camping right now somewhere tropical!!!

We were just placed under a flood warning. 2 inches already and 2 more possible. I'll bring the boat and pick up some berries! Actually depending on the weather, we might be down there on Saturday.
I think the heavens are opening up right over us.

Sorry about the berries. Hopefully SOME will rebound whenever the sun comes back out. Steve was just saying that he was glad he didn't put any seedlings in our garden yet...they would have just floated away

myrtle beach sounds great someone told me to stay at lake wood next door to ocean lakes anyhow i have been looking at yogi in cherokee N.C . we pumped the lower half of the field today so that will help but now we will deal with rot!!! This to shall pass !!! I do have field trips coming back in starting in the morning we will all be in boots. The large tent that is over the picnic area was blown over and ripped so that will have to go to be repaired. Oh well it could have been worse. but I am looking forward to going camping next month. hope everyone is drying out!!!

rain rain go away !!!!!!! we had to pay workers to come in and pick bad berries to help prevent further rot. not a good year for berries . but there is always next
