Hmmm?

Just so I know how much I have to practice with PS, how long did it take you to do the other one?

I was fooling around with it earlier and it caused me to want a shot and a beer.

Of course that could be a good thing but I am heading into work to fight with the 10,000 fools, I mean citizens, coming into our Precinct for the fireworks tonite.

About 10 minutes... I got the graphic from Rockwood, used the ERASER tool to take out wording, then used the TYPE tool to insert my own.

I can figure out the erase and type but even the erase functions are interesting regarding layers and such. There appears to be some interface issues as I am doing it too.

Paint Shop and ACD are so much easier but do not have all the tools and gizmos.

What edition do you have?

Yup, gotta remember the layers... Sometimes it drives me nuts trying to alter something I *see* but I don't realize I'm not focused on the background image. Once you remember layers, it's MUCH easier to work with. For instance, when I typed in some text and needed to rotate it, Photoshop knew exactly what I wanted to change since that was the only thing on that particular layer. Pasting Phil's head over Borat's body was easy since it was on its own layer. BTW, I'm using version 7 Pro...

They haven't changed the commands in a long time, so if you google PHOTOSHOP TUTORIAL you'll get lots of free online help including follow-along video and flash demonstrations.

If you want to see some REALLY good Photoshop examples, go visit the GALLERIES at http://www.worth1000.com/

Now I've got to make other floor plans. The ladies model, honeymoon model (which I probably shouldn't post), maybe a police officer model for Scott & Eric. Any other ideas?

How about the frustrated Mom model.

Hey Scott....I learned most of photoshop from a book that came with a CD...I'd be happy to lend it to you if you'd like...or just give a holler if you have a question...Photoshop is way cool
