I'm glad your event turned out better than a buddy of mine... I was out at the flying field for a Fun Fly competition today (which I won BTW), and a buddy lost radio contact with his plane. Here's what's left...

Don't laugh, dude... That wreck destroyed about $800 worth of equipment, not including the servos he MIGHT be able to salvage.

Cheers!

We all have toys that crash and burn in some form or fashion.

Diposable income? Isn't that what it is?

You only saw the tip of the iceberg when the mini-styrofoam one got crunched. THAT one cost ONLY $150... LOL My personal fleet clocks in at around $3000 and guys in my club own scale models that run $10k and up.

I'll admit, I take MUCH more care when flying the $600 model than when I'm flying one of the $300 models. LOL

I guess we may have flown over your house. I know we flew over parts of the Crofton area. Not sure exactly where you live.

We're in Millersville...just off route 97 after it bends sharp north towards baltimore. Ever see the farm land off to the left when you're heading towards Baltimore (Pappa John's/Schillingers farm) When you see that, you're just about a mile from my house. We are on the opposite side of 97 from that farm.
