BooHoo...I am really blue. Yesterday we droppped Frankie off at Penn State. We set up his room, met the roommates, had lunch with him... then came 3:45 and parents were asked to leave the students. Yesterday I was strong- I didn't even shed a tear, but today reality has set in..no text...no phone call...no email message from him-- The house seems so different- how do I survive this (besides drinking )

You'll get through this. . . you're tough. . . besides they always (and I repeat always) come back, even if it is to wash dirty laundry! 5 years my son was in FL; thought I'd never see him back in my house, back in his own room! Voile! I know it's only temporary, but it's cool having him around! CoCo thinks he's a play toy!

Ah........
Sharon...
I was not going to admit that Friday was the same type of day for moi at York College. It was a very early start to the day since I am on 2-10 but took the day off. Fortunately the drive was reasonable and not like a camping trip! Scott's roommate and family were very nice and we all hung out together doing the requisite stuff until after 3:00 and then it was "SEE YA!". (sniff sniff). Even the College President suggested that we might not hear from our kids for a week or more. NO WAY!
Cindy...
At that hour I had just got home myself a bit earlier after working a DWI detail. Of course munching while watching the Olympics has been the norm. Not as much fun as spending the night at Joann's! Hah!
Joe...
The Fair will be safe on Monday while I am there. I decided to pick a daywork/school day so there will be no issues and very few patrons. Boring is fine for me. Same pay regardless.
Why are you coming all the way up here for the MSF?
Joanne...
Had not even looked at the schedule for the show. If I go I may want to buy. Better not to go!

Oh Sharon I know exactally how you are feeling. The day we dropped our daughter off at college I will never forget what she said to us...."mom and dad you guys leave first...I don't want you to watch me walk away"...I will never forget that day..I was ok until we got home and I went into her room--and really had a good cry. I know it is extra hard for you because of what Frankie has been through its one worry when you send them off into the world..but quite another when they have a health issue to deal with. Keep busy it helps. See ya soon

Definately considering it! Wife and I are mulling around the idea of a toy hauler. It really depends on if we can what we need for the Roo.

Youre right, the health issue enters into the "big picture" We have been keeping busy, we'll have to tell you all about that while we are around the campfire!! I think Frank would prefer to be a little less busy, but thats life!

More like this.
Motorcycle
Looking 1/2 Toy Haulers so I don't have to replace the truck as well.
