I guess if she really wanted to, you could head south to like VA Beach and then back up 13 and come that way. But if you are looking for the quickest way, my way is best.. ;-)
For those coming from Southern Maryland that DO NOT want to drive the beltway or 95...you can take 301 north to 3 north to 97 to 695. There are some lights thru Bowie, Crofton & Gambrills. Or, you can take 301 north to 50 east to pick up 97. Just a few more options

We have been told in the past you can go through tunnels(and we have) as long as the tanks are shut off. They can stop you before or after to check. We have never had a problem.
We are finally getting out to camp this weekend(we have not been out since the middle of June), we are going to Harmony Ridge , we have never been there before, but it is up in the tip top corner of New jersey where Pa, NY and NJ connect.
Safe travels everyone.

Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) govern the transport of hazardous materials across our toll facilities. Under these regulations, vehicles carrying bottled propane gas in excess of 10 pounds per container (maximum of 10 containers), bulk gasoline, explosives, significant amounts of radioactive materials, and other hazardous materials are prohibited from using the Fort McHenry Tunnel (I-95) or the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel (I-895). The Francis Scott Key Bridge (I-695, the Baltimore Beltway) is a convenient alternative route for crossing Baltimore's Harbor.
Bottled Propane Restrictions
In the Baltimore Harbor (I-895) and Fort McHenry (I-95) tunnels, the following bottled-propane restrictions apply:
Must be 10-pound (or less) containers
Maximum of 10 containers per vehicle
An alternative route is the Francis Scott Key Bridge (I-695) — there are no propane restrictions on Maryland’s bridges.

I hate to rebuke, rebuff or react to information that is genuinely offered.
However, this matter has been discussed on other threads many times over with ardor.
NO TRANSPORT OF PROPANE OVER 1O POUNDS per container is allowed through the Harbor or McHenry Tunnels (see below).
That is not to say you can't get through. It is a rare sight to see a TT going through the tunnels but I know it happens. It can be right in front of a MDTA Officer. I do not think the toll booth personnel get involved with that as well. Of course one could offer that they are driving with empty tanks. Yeah, sure. It is not worth the time lost, perhaps a ticket and even a search of the your RV.
Personally and professionally I would not want to go through a tunnel with my rig, just because. The Chesapeake Bay-Bridge Tunnel allows TTs as do many others.

Thanks, I don't mind the toll unless it's $100 then I may have to rethink - but shortest most direct is good enough for me. Thanks again.

I don't know when we will be leaving but it won't be until Chris gets off of work - so hopefully by 5:30 but who knows. I've pulled Tyler from school many times (ok not every day but you get the idea) to go on vacations and they have never minded.
