Hey Cindy! We have EZ-Pass too. Do you not have it set up so that EZPass will take $$ from your banking acct/credit card when you get below a certain amount? We do! I don't have to worry about it at all. Even though we don't use EZPass much at all, I recommend it to those who use it even once in a blue moon. Doesn't cost a penny...unless you use the tolls, of course.

This is what we have - it's great to never have to worry about having money for the tolls and the pass just "recharges" itself whenever it is low.

Yup, it reloads itself. We just weren't "prepared" for that big of a toll! It does help not having to stop and pay! I just slow down and watch the light turn green! YEAH!

The toll is only big ONE way. NO different than the Bay Bridge.

I bought two transponders and give one to Scott when we go to Cherrystone or anywhere he needs to go with tolls.

The automatic replenishment is a nice thing.

Wow.

A big expensive TT in the driveway and you are flying to Pittsburgh?

I wanted to save lives on Monday too, especially since it is O/T but I hate when work gets in the way of camping.

My truck wouldn't handle the mountains very well towing and there is no parking for the trailer at the inlaws anyways. Closest campground is like 45 minutes away. Not very practical. And not having to do the driving on the PA turnpike is wonderful.

TT has spent many days in the driveway this year.

I agree the drive would be a killer just for a short weekend. Gas and wear and tear are a big factor.

Just cracking on you. Seems I can't do it person anymore!

Well, the 3 hour drive to Luray turned into 4.5 hours due to a back up on 70 near Hagerstown. We opt to avoid the DC area as much as possible especially on holiday weekends, so we took 70 to 81. We got here at 6:30 and were done setting up completely by 6:55...trip to Walmart for clothes the dear 7 year old forgot and back for a fire.

Good news is we are here! We were able to come! And after we got here, Polly finally ate a meal and she ate like a ravenous pig! LOL....it was good to see that...she'll be on meds and home cooked boiled chicken and rice for 5 days along with meds, but she's better!

Bad news is half way here I got a call from my sister and she's had another set back. We are awaiting test results to see what's what and what can be done next. So while we are here, there's no guarantee I can stay through the long weekend!

Hope everyone has a fabulous holiday weekend!...signing off now with my glass of wine in hand..I'm exhausted!

Mindy,
Enjoy Luray while you can. . . I'm glad "puppy" is doing a little better. I'll keep your sister in my prayers. Hope you're drinking out of that fancy, schmancy cup and straw! Pinky Up!

Just keep telling yourself that it's better than going to the shore this weekend. Glad to hear that Polly is doing better and sorry about your sister's set back. Try to enjoy your weekend.
