Anybody ever stayed here during the Sturgis Rally?
What's it like? Safe?
Have a 40' DP that wants to feel safe.

Never been there but from what I can see on the net I wouldn't want to be. Just not my style. Seems like everyone from the Hell's Angels to Grandpa McCoy is there.......

The big bike rallys are safe , buy not for the timid . I have never had a problem , but I lock my coach and trailer . See ya there .

Stayed there in 2004 -- we were in a 38' MH -- no problems.
Interesting group of people -- you see a little of everything.

Buffalo Chip usually has all the good concerts. But the hard corps bikers stay there also. If someone gets shot or stabbed it's usually at Buffalo Chip. I would stay at Glencoe Campground. Still plenty exciting and you can always go to Buffalo Chip for the concerts.

My father in law (FIL) lives in Sturgis and we visit annually. Generally in June or Sept. Yes you will see it all during bike week (actually 2-3 weeks in mid August). My FIL shows us the photos. When ever you go stay at Rush No More RV Park. Safe, away from crowd, and can easily handle a big rig.
