Just to let all of you know that this is one very nice place...the hosts are the best, I broke down in their driveway and he let me fix it right there...lost the start battery and fortunatly the NAPA store across the street had one...whats the chance to find an 8-D 1150 CCA in a po dunk town like Hatteras?...anyways if your looking for a relaxing place on the Outer Banks then I highly recommend Hatteras Sands...BTW no offense made to a Po Dunk town...its just small and quaint...

Are there any waterfront sites there? If so, how close? I'd love to camp as close to the beach/ocean as possible.

About a block away from the ocean -- they do have a pool.

There are a couple campgrounds on the the Outer Banks that are on the Ocean.
Camp Hatteras
Hatteras KOA
Ocean Waves
