well Randy I might just have to take up your offer to help. I have been looking at getting one going and weighing the possibilities on where to have it. Sugar Bottom would be way easy for us, only about 20 miles from home. I talked to Ketelsen Rv as they have about three different gatherings per year but it only includes their customers.
The Amana Villiages camp area would holds several hundred campers (not that I plan on having that many) but they have several things lined up alreay for next year. I need to talk to someone in charge of that area yet.
I saw several things that I liked while in Wisconsin at the rally and continued reading on here helps with more do's and dont's.
Keep in touch

After running four of these WI Rallies, I must admit it does tend to get easier.

A lot of the ground work has been done and the framework is pretty much in place. People pretty much know what to expect from here on out, i.e. wine tasting, kid's stuff, potluck, big ol' fire, etc. It'll take some time, but it's well worth the effort to get it up and running. Mistakes will be made, but you fix them and move on and the next one will be better.

Dave.

Glad to hear it, we may have to attend a WI Rally next year (if I can get past the WI Border Patrol(police)). I looked on the map and it's about 3 1/2 HRS away, I'll just have to drug the kids
We WILL overcome and hopefully, in time, our Rally will be bigger than yours

i have been there and it is about 4 to 4/12 hours to get there and you know the cops always have the best drugs but you are telling me you have that bib burban and no DVD player or gaming consule in there wow in my little truck i have DVD player

Sheesh, doughboy - 4 1/2 hours???? Did you ride a bicycle?

Steve was a little 'ol lady in a previous life, or his little truck just wont go that fast.
I do have a DVD that straps between the front seats.

well first of all settle down young man and just pop in Titantic into DVD and the kids will be asleep in minutes or it will last the whole trip (sorry too long of a movie when you know the outcome)
