Hello everyone I am proud to announce I installed a very nice fire place into our 2006 Raptor 3612DS in just a matter of 3 hours. Cost of fireplace (free) and material ($15). You see someone through it out on the side of the street because it did not work. One man's junk became a very nice project for me and a nice tressure. I will be posting pictures of the installation and the finished product as soon as I figure out how to post the pictures.

To share a picture, upload it to your favorite website (i.e. photobucket or similar) and then get the link to the photo and click on the button any post (advanced not a quick reply) - photos should be 640 or less, if larger then just paste the link in the box and type in 640 in the width box and the software will size it for you.

I NEED to see pictures. Where the heck did you put it?
Edited to add: If it's in the bedroom that would be "hot"!

Yeah, we need pix - I'm wanting to get one put in our Living Room under the tv in our 5'er. It's empty storage now and even though we may can use that storage, I will our f.p. so much that it's worth it to both of us to get one. What's the width and height? I don't know where to get one either. Help?

I did see several TH mfg with an electric fire place at the RV show, and I must say WHY?
What next, a 12V messaging recliner, or better yet a jacuzzi with 30+ messaging jets. Humm...come to think of it, I'd pay the extra to have the jacuzzi option.
Perhaps I'll just stay home, it's just too much trouble to haul that 40+ ft. so call TH out these days.

yep pics please! 3 hrs...sounds like my kind of project. The 06 Raptors have the TV in the garage divider. I was thinking maybe you could install one there in place of the TV.

We just got the small free standing one at Lowes last year for like $139 and put it on the empty wall under the mirror by the master bedroom stairs & the couch I LOVE IT!! if I dont want the heater on I just turn that off (little switches in back) and still get to look at the pretty flames everybody says it looks real!
I would love to see pics of a more permanant fire place though!!!
Light enough that I move it by myself out of the way of the slide,Best add on we have done so far!!! Its so nice on a cold night to curl up with a blanket and watch a movie or read a book by the "fire" in our rv!!!

I placed it right under the TV, about 8" from the floor up and there is only one 2x2" stub that you have to cut out that really is just there and does not cause any issues by cutting it out, the back of the fireplace sticks about 6" to 8"'s out the back wall into the Garage. There is no Electric in that area so dont worry about rearranging any wiring.

We have one that we're pretty happy with. Actually it's so awesome that all our friends like to use it too. The group finally got so big that we had to move it outside. That's OK though--now our alarms don't go off all the time inside.

I have a portable hot tub I pull up in the back. It's great. Lots of fun at rallies. Be careful though loose threads off bathing suits stop up the filters. I have a rule that fixed that.
