Well a couple weeks ago I noticed that my Norcold refridgerator was a unit that was made in 1999 and was part of a recall. So fast forward to today when the mobile RV guy came by with my new cooling unit. I helped him remove the fridge and remove/replace the suspect cooling unit. Took 3 hours start to finish. Its nice to have a whole new unit ($900+ unit and $250 labor for free). It is now mounted and operating properly right now.

Like old travel decals? me too!

Well this weekend I got started on my kitchen floor replacement project. So I have removed the water heater and got about 80% of the old floor out. Come to find out there is a steel grid work forming the floor studs with foam insulation inbetween the bottom sheet metal and wood flooring. This is good news as no stud replacement needed because of wood rot. Well that will be it till next weekend.

Good Luck and Safe Camping, Robert.

Changed the black MaxxAir vent cover in the bathroom to a white one. The black one made it feel like a dungeon, the white one lets it the right amount of light. Still have the black one over the bunk which is perfect.

Drove the C to the hardware store because I hadn't driven it in so long and ran the generator.

I haven't got one YET!, but the DW and I have been trying to get to all the shows that we can in our area. Road Trip up to Greensboro last week, and up to Raleigh in about 3 weeks. Judging by the responses to winterizing, maybe we're fortunate to still be waiting, and will have our rig by Spring. LOL. Still waiting for that ship to come in!

For now, I spend my time on this site, learning from all of you....Thanks!

Took the cover off of the Spirit and took the DW and the dogs for a 20 mile spin. Also ran the genset the whole time. (Hated like crazy to park it again!) Glad we did it yesterday -- got up this morning to a fresh coating of new snow. Dang it!

Dumped tanks from last trip, filled gas tank, vacuumed coach and cab, and inventoried the outside storage compartments because I always forget what's in there. Hopefully I will remember where I decided to keep the inventory printout. Can't wait to go on my next trip, about 4 weeks away.
