We bought a Sewer Solution before our first trip in the MH 4 years ago and have never used anything else to dump the tanks. Our 3 inch hoses have spent 41,000 miles riding in the bumper without ever being used. However, we do not use dump stations. All dumps have been at FHU sites or into the sewer cleanout at home.

no question, sewer solution or macerator pump. NO MORE STINKY SLINKIES.
I would recommend the sewer solution only if you get a full hookup site every 3rd night or whenever you want to dump. most/many public dumps have faulty water hose hookups and a stinky slinky is faster.

Sewer Solution is the only way I will ever go again. No "stinky slinky" hose to try to rinse out (how clean do you REALLY think you get it?) and storage is a snap

I used sewer solution on my Trailer very successfully for several years and am now using it on the Coach. It is even better on the Coach because the black tank has a built in flush system. I do carry a slinky in case I have to do a 'fast' dump at a rest area etc but so far have not used it.

I have been on sites where the sewer is slightly uphill of the Trailer and that was when the sewer solution was very useful. If Cost is not an issue, I would install a macerator pump but still use the sewer solution hose as it is smooth bore and does not trap particles of crud.

We have had the Sewer Solution for five years it works great for us. We carry 30' of hose and it stores in our water compartment with no problem. Our coach has a storage tube for 10' of 3" we keep for dump stations.

I've always liked the Valterra brand EZ Coupler hoses. They're the red hoses with the black ends.

They're tough made, flexible in the cold, and the four-post ends swivel. There's no slip fits here - everything locks together SECURELY with four posts, even the threaded 90 degree dump pipe adaptor. It won't pop apart with a full flow going like slip-fit hoses. After my first ''poop-pool'' I was DONE with slip-fit hoses forever.

The seals are a silicone based O-ring type, and I've never had a ''poop'' leak yet. I've more than once ''guitar stringed'' the hose to reach a distant dump pipe, and the joints do not come apart.

You can also get 5' extension hoses. I keep three, with their ends hooked together. (so they self-seal) That keeps them from gassing out the storage bays, and if you compress them against your feet before closing the ends up, they stay in a tight ''donut'' shape for storage.

Ditto... I have 3x 10footers & 1x 5footer... very pleased.

How clean do you really NEED to get it?
After 40 gallons of soapy dishwater go thru I figure a quick rise that removes the soap bubbles so I don't drip those around and it's more than fine myself.
