By March of 08 the life membership offer has gone to $379 after the rebates. What makes this a rare honor?

We're Life Members too, and it won't be long and it will of paid for itself. We get very little "junk mail", certainly nothing like we get from credit card offers.

I was one of the "select few" this year also. Looking at their web site, a three year renewal averages to about $18 per year. I figured that I would need to remain a member for about 22 years to break even (assuming no cost increase). I can't see that far ahead so I passed on it this time. For someone younger, this could be a good deal...

We did a little figuring and decided the break even point wasn't too many years away so we bit. And it wasn't anywhere near $449. Probably closer to $200 when we did it.
'bout the same story here - would we do it again, knowing what we do now ????

I also get this invitation several times a year. For me it is not worth the price since I don't know how much longer I will be rving. I think if you are a Good Sam member, you will get this invitation.

We got the offer a couple of times but haven't taken them up on it. We don't full time, yet, so don't think it would be a benefit at this time.
