WB5TEY in Dallas here / General. Only one other call in my past from the 70's - WN5TEY for those old enough to remember that. Like digital modes - good thing since I just suffered a paralyzed vocal cord (2-OCT) and cant talk now. HP-Link and HF-Pack ops are fun too! Also monitor .52 and CB19 on the road.

Was a ham back in the 50's, in high school and college. Built all my own stuff then, to me that was the fun. Lost interest when I started working in electronics.

am a ham, but like RV'ing far better - would not be interested in a group in this forum, but wouldn't mind if you guys do... Advanced class - don't remember when I was first licensed...? (don't remember a lot of things!)

I mentioned a couple of day ago that one of the HF nets for RVers was at 7.54 at 7:00 pm Central Time, daily. I just received my newsletter and saw that they have moved to 7.23. The organization is RV Radio Net.

Another Ham forum?? Well why not...Kinda goes with my other interests, RV'ing.

Me W6LAR, DW KF6CHG

I list 147.52 / 446.00 on my TT bumper and listen to those while on the road.

Usually carry along Icom IC-718 in the TT with a High Sierra 1800 on the back ladder when we are parked. Run SSB and PSK-31. TV has 2M/440/HF/6M while on the road. I don't use it ALL the time but when we get some down time while out and about. Advanced, first licensed in '80. Commercial General Radiotelephone license since 1970.

I think a forum for RV hams would be some help to other RVers too.
