I went to Solvang, California on a day trip last Sunday. I saw at least 1 Roadtrek 170 (possibly 2), Roadtrek 190, Sportsmobile Sprinter, and an older Great West van as well.
It was my 1st trip in my new Pleasure-Way Excel. Not sure if I got lucky, or just notice them more now.
Here is a picture I took on my cell phone of an Xplorer (Dodge chassis with dual rear wheels) this evening at a stop light. I got behind him and took the shot. You can barely see the "Xplorer" name in the photo. It was raining at the time. I have noticed more B's around this year than ever before.
Gee, Even though they are rare here in the Houston area, I can see 3 B's outside my front window, in my driveway. Merry Miler, Coachmen, and TranStar. Hoping to go to Austin soon to pick up a Roadtrek 190. I'll get it right one day and get the one I really want, if I can find one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg,.... an American Cruiser with a real RV door on the back, and no side doors. Penny, TX
Rving, and fixing them, since 1968.
I loved my dog, he wasn't motivated by money.
Don't Drink and Drive, Ever.
Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you.
We have had our RT since August. We have driven to and from the Grand Canyon, to and from Disneyland, and use the van around town. So far we have seen a grand total of TWO Class B's, and none of them were Roadtreks. Where do they go????????
Still lookin' in Nevada and elsewhere

We always see some on I-5 and also over along the coast. They're out there, but with gas prices so high, I think everybody is taking shorter trips and staying closer to home. Some locals here use their B for a daily driver.

DW and myself went out shopping yesterday for groceries etc. I deliberately charged my digital camera batteries prior to the trip, hoping to capture a 'B' or two...zip...zero...nada...
We drove up I-5 to Sacramento last Thursday and home again (to So Cal) yesterday. Spotted 8 or 9 class B's, most of them PleasureWays this time, and waved when we could. No time for photos. Saw a silver anniversary Roadtrek at the Buttonwillow rest stop. When we first got CA POPPY in April of 2004, we typically saw more Roadtreks.
There is a Roadtrek that I see parked and driving around the SW Austin area near where I live. I can never see the owners to ask if they are on the forum. I never have a camera handy, I guess I might need a cell phone with a camera.
When we travel we see many Class B's but they are always traveling the opposite way. We can't tell what manufacturer they are.
Someday I want to pull into a park and meet someone from this forum!
