This is my first winter with a camper, and I just wanted to check.

I had the dealer winterize the lines

I removed the batteries and placed them in my basement

I filled my Propane

I bought a bucket of de-humidity stuff from walmart.

I locked the door!

Is there anything else I need to do to the TT?

Also ig any massachusetts people are here, If I allow my registration to expire and renew it in April, do I pay excise tax on the trailer for the 5-6 months it was unregisetered?

If you have the Maxx vent covers, or if you cover your trailer, leave a vent and/or a window slightly open. It will help diffuse any buildup of humidity over the winter and help prevent condensation.

I assume that you filled the propane tanks just because you WANTED to and NOT because you're planning on running any heat while it's in storage. That would be a bad idea. Good luck / Skip

I was told that filling the propane tanks was a way to prevent corrosion inside the tank

I always let the registration expire and re-register in April and I pay the excise tax on whatever the RMV determines the TT's value to be based on $25.00 per $1000.00 of valuation for the year, sometime around May or June. By the way most TT's and HTT's can not be reregistered online in Mass.

Did you de-mouse the trailer? Depending on location, climate, etc you could have unwanted live ins over the winter.

Leave the black and gray water tank valves closed during storage. Leaving them open can cause problems with the seals and can lead to leaks down the road. Adding a shot of silicone spray will also help.
If you're using a product like Damp Rid adding a small amount of heat will help the Damp Rid do it's thing.

In removing stuff.. remember to look for any coke cans stowed away as they make a real sticky mess when they freeze and leak. Remove all can goods. And no one mentioned the supply pipe for the city water inlet.. where it comes in from the site post to the camper.. after purging all lines via their faucets and hoses.. turn off the pump to drop the pressure and crack a faucet to lower the pressure and then look in the hose hook up for the city water and push on the small nubbin white plastic and get some RV antifreeze to exit there also so the feed pipe doesn't freeze.. mine did last winter at the bottome ell and cracked it as some water was left in this low spot. And this was SoCal with only a few nights in the mid twenties.
