Not just any old shortbread, let me try to describe them. They are made in a sheet and cut into squares. Typical shortbread cookie bottom but it has a thin layer of chocolate on top, then finely ground nuts over the still warm chocolate so they settle in. Do they have a name? Anyone heard of this? My aunt brought these every year at Christmas and I am looking for the mix. Thank you.
Wife drives it FAST, hubby fixes it when it breaks.

I make mine by creaming 3 sticks of butter with 1/2 cup sugar. I add 3 cups of flour and press into a 9x13 pan. I prick with a fork and cook at 325 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes.
You could probably spread some melted chocolate chips on the top and cover with the ground nuts after cooking???
