I am sad. I winterized my TT today. I am the father of 3 sons, run my own business, and am the sole provider for my family. My sole piece of tranquility is my TT. I absolutely LOVE taking my TT out on the road, but I rarely have time for it. This past year, I was only able to get out for a total of 15 nights. Oh well, enough already.

Those of you that are located in Fla. and the southwest, ENJOY THE WINTER!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so envious!!!!

MAKE time for it ! ...and just cause you winterized it -- does not mean you can't use it.

I must admit. You northerners are a special breed sticking with this camping thing even though you have to winterize your rig until next spring. Here in Central California we don't winterize. We just go camping to the central coast (160 miles away) to get away from these terrible freezing temperatures of 30 and 40 degrees. brrrrr!
Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Hey but we can't use our pool either during the winter...unless you course you have solar heated water!

Sorry again.

It's good that you winterized it before a freeze, but as others have said, there's no reason you can't "un-winterize" it on a moment's notice. You should still have several weeks of good camping weather where you are. I am a few hours northwest of you in SW Va, and I winterized because we were expecting (and got) 3 or 4 nights in a row of sub-freezing temps. But I still plan on camping in the Shenandoah Valley over Thanksgiving. It will only take a short time to unwinterize and a few minutes to re-winterize when we get back.

Camp on, I say...

I winterized last weekend then decided to use it Tues. and Wed. nights. I parked directly across from the bathroom house and didnt use water at all in the TT. The TT is back at the dealer now, when repair work is done. We plan on using it that weekend the same way. Hopefully 1 more good weekend before the dreaded STORAGE LOT.
