Are those of you with the 32' TT's really that limited on where you can go? I seem to keep reading that 30' or shorter is better, yet I see many 32'ers in peoples signatures. Do you 32ers really feel limited when turning, parking, fueling, going to campgrounds, etc? I'm very curious to hear.

I have found limitations in State Parks in California. Where we camp along the Coast, the spaces are parallel along the samd and we rent 2 spaces to eliminate the length limit.

When we traded our old 25 footer for the new 34 footer we had to give up a number of our favorite boondocking sites. It's a matter of physics. You can't put a 34 foot trailer in a 25 foot space (without a big running start and a big crunch anyway). Most campgrounds we've seen have SOME spaces where we will fit but not nearly as many as with the old trailer. My trailer may be 34 feet but my RIG is over 50 feet. Good luck / Skip

Hey Randy, I just got back from my first trip in my new Jayco. It is 32ft. and I had no trouble pulling, parking, or getting around in general. After you get use to it, it's no big deal. You just have to be aware of the length you have behind you an drive accordingly.

I have had no issue either... though I stick to truck stops etc for fueling - and large stores (Walmart, etc) for shopping. Biggest places that cause potential issues is places we may stop to eat - Bob Evans, etc - some of those parking lots can be pretty tight... especially when full of cars. My rule of thumb for that --- if I don't KNOW that I can get in and out --- I don't chance it.
One place I HAVE had issues w/ a longer TT... storage lots. I live in an area where I can't keep my TT at my house so I have to rent a storage space. There... a longer TT can be an issue. Especially if you get parked around some 40' Class A's.
But as one prior post said... planning is the key!!!
Good luck!

I worried about this a lot before we purchased our 32' Starcraft. So far, there hasn't been a campground I couldn't find a space in. Some have been tight, but so far so good.
A place I know it's a problem here out west is the campgrounds in Yosemite Valley. I'm sure there are others all over the country.
As someone else said, plan ahead!

The state parks here generally have some spots that are plenty big enough, it has not been a significant issue for me.

Our TT is 32.5' from bumper to coupler, and so far I haven't had an issue getting it into any spots. I always specify 35' length for a spot when asked however, to make sure.

Here in the upper midwest, we have never been limited in size by any local, state or national park with our 32' TT. That said, we also totally avoid private campgrounds like KOA and similar. Maybe they have more restrictions?

It depends where you normally stay - We are 99.9% campground people, not boondocking or state parks, and so we have not had any issues. When we do stay at our (OK) state campgrounds, we have not had any issues...
In fact, the pic in our signature is at our local state campground and we fit nicely
