Hi all. Well it looks like we will be loosing Rick & Kathy and Rusty from our committee due to Rick and Kathy's first grandchild is due that week (congrats!!!) and Rusty has a graduation (congrats as well!!!)
What we need now is to have 2 others step up for them and help keep this Rally going and add to all their hard work and effort to get this done.
Rick, Kathy and Rusty, you guys will be missed this year but not forgotten. Congratulations to you all!

Not even going there...

I would have thought with Bubba there, that the toilet would have caught fire first.

Hi all,

We hope that you are all enjoying your Christmas holiday and your families. In a blink of an eye, we will be Camping soon! (keep that thought)

We had a GREAT Christmas! My oldest daughter Jennifer was home from CA with her boyfriend Jared. Jared had just returned from Iraq 10 days ago. So this was special just finally meeting him and having them with the family for the holidays. They met when Jen was based in Hawaii, not on the RV map we are sad to say. ) Anyway, he got down on his knee and proposed to her with all of us around. How special that was that that shared this special time with us. I was already a babbling mess from the present I received just minutes before.

My oldest, Bryan and his wife Stacy now live in southern MD and could not be with us for Christmas. They did send their packages and had a card boldly marked "Do No Open until Christmas Morning" ... it was a card from our Grandchild....saying see you in MAY!!!! We are going to be grandparents...1st time! We are just so excited, and just so blessed. They are due the end of May.

Since their due date is the same time frame as the spring rally, we can not be with you. Since they will be in Maryland, we will be loading up the fiver and heading south watching the sky for a stork carrying our grand baby. Although disappointed that we can not be with you all, or chair this years rally, we are just thrilled that we have a reallllllllllly coool excuse.

As we told Rusty, Sharon, Rich and Fern last night in an email, the sites are all set up with Deer Run. Marion was wonderful to work with and gave us 56 sites. We have use of the small pavillion, and you could probably book out the sites closed to the pavillion for the convenience of storage. They have 2-3 refriderators and a huge covered patio to set up the cookers.

We do hope everyone enjoys the spring rally and we wish we could still be with all of you. We are still around, not giving up on the forum though, but I am thinking about knitting lessons and working on wedding arrangements. What a great time the upcoming year is going to be.

Kathy & Rick, congratulations on all your great news! What a couple of wonderful christmas presents you received this year. We're sorry you won't be able to be with us for the rally, but I think I would pass up the rally for a new grandchild also... well, not at my current age... but in the future!
Good luck with your wedding and baby planning!

Rusty, are you finally graduating from high school? I knew years of sleeping in that chair would finally pay off!

What is the bumping? You trying to get your eyes open so that you can grind the coffee?
