I would appreciate some suggestions for egg salad for sandwiches.

Other than, maybe --- (diced) sweet pickles, celery, onions, salt and pepper, is there anything else to make a great sandwich?

Cut back on the mayo and add a little sour cream. Also, a little curry powder can be tasty. Or some cajun seasoning, Tony's or Emerils or Prudhomme. Capers are good. We also like fresh sprouts on ours when you can get them. Bean, alfalfa, etc.

Sometimes I had a little Dijon mustard and chopped green onions. Makes it taste more like my deviled eggs.

Do deviled eggs instead--everybody loves deviled eggs. Make the yolk/mayo/mustard paste in a baggie and snip a corner off to fill the eggs then throw the baggie away. A tiny chip of jalapeno or an olive slice to garnish.

Wife drives it FAST, hubby fixes it when it breaks.
