I never see mention of converting rear car brakes to electric brakes. The antilock system would be a matter to handle but the basic setup seems rather simple. Any thoughts about this?

You really need all four or the tires will burn up. We are working on a dedicated system called the Automatic Towing Control Module or (ATCM) for giving the toads a computerized way of applying the brakes through the Vehicles own hydraulic system. The hope is that it applies brakes as the towing vehicle slows and also brakes if the toad breaks loose from the hitch. Bosch Brakes have been asked to do the technical end and the (NHSA) Nation Highway Safety Administration is looking into making it part of the (VSC) Vehicle Safety Control systems for all 2011 Vehicles. But until then if the toad is over 3000 LBS it needs the aftermarket brake systems currently on the market if you tow four down. If you use a dolly then the dolly brakes do the job.
