Make sure you have your passports are up to date. Have all the medications you need when you go into Canada as it is tough to get them shipped in. Do not buy a lot of wine as you go through CA as CAN will limit you to 1.5 L per person. Get a GPS that will convert to metric. Check you Credit Cards to see how much they will charge to allow you the honor to use them in CAN. Some of ours added as much as 3% to each transaction. If your bank will allow you to buy CAN $$$ at no conversion cost buy them now before the US $$ drops even more. Pick a out of the way border crossing as the major crossing can get 5 hour back ups. Get ERS that covers you in CAN. Check with your insurance carrier to get CAN approved proof of insurance cards. Have a FROG braking system. PLAN ON HAVING A GREAT TIME.

The DW and I are leaving NC on New Years Day for TX, NM, and AZ. Sometime in May, we’ll drift north to UT, NV, WY, OR, WA, and later, Canada -- in all, a 9 month trip in the MH.

Cheers, Jim

NO - I do NOT sell them but for about $90 you can get a pair of headsets to use during parking, etc. Best thing I ever purchased avoiding the problems of walkie-talkies, etc. I have shown them to several people that have asked and all (about 6 - 7) have gotten their own. Holler if you need advice.

Wow, this topic has gone all over the map.

Did I tell you about the time I was driving my 57 Chevy kind of fast and loose, and the cops...

To be ANYWHERE but here when Christmas comes.
I've written Santa and for extra good luck said a prayer too.

Lets see where do I start... air bags for the TV suspension, a new GPS, a new ham radio for the trailer, a few tanks of gas, more leveling blocks, electric tounge jack, a 20" LCD TV. Anyone need my shipping address? Merry Early Christmas.
