I think (been 26 years) the first meal the wife cooked for me was Bolgogi and Kimchi with rice.

It being 34 years ago, I can't remember but I suspect it was roast beef & Yorkshire Pudding. And probably blueberry cheesecake--he's a dessert man!

That was more then 35 years ago but I still remember.
I fixed:
Meatloaf
Bake potato
Broccoli
Drop Biscuits
I made meatloaf just like my mother made with tomato sauce over the top. When the then "new boy friend" asked for mayonnaise, I thought he had a screw loose. I thought he was going to put the mayo on the meatloaf but instead he put in on his Broccoli, which I thought was gross, but evidently some people like it that way. I prefer butter myself!
I almost forgot my biscuits in the oven, but luckily they hadn't burned. When I brought them to the table the boy friend asked, "What the heck are those?" I said, "biscuits." He said, "I've eaten a lot of biscuits in my day and them aint those!"
Well, my mother always made drop biscuits, his mother rolled them out and cut them. They taste the same, the dough is the same, they just look different. Well that was the last time I made drop biscuits. They are all rolled out and shaped with love now

My wife was 16 years old and could barely boil water. We had cookies and milk on our honeymoon. I think the first thing she cooked was hamburger helper. We still love it 33 years later.

On our first date, which really wasn't a "date," he grilled hamburger's for six of us, who were to spend the day on his pontoon boat. He sprinkled soy sauce on the burgers and they were VERY salty. That was July, 1999, the rest is history.

During the summer of 1974, I cooked my boyfriend (now DH) sweet & sour chicken with lumpy mashed potatoes (my mother always made them from real potatoes and so did I). The chicken was good, the mashed potatoes were lumpy, but they tasted good. I don't think I served anything else. He loved it. We both still remember that meal! Now he considers himself the "chef" of the family (which is fine with me!).
It was in my studio apartment half a block from the beach. The rent was $125 a month and included utilities. Gas was about 35 cents a gallon. Life was so easy and uncomplicated back then.

We've been trying to remember what my Delightful Wench cooked & can't but it was good enough to keep me for 3 decades, we do remember well what was for dessert & it's lasted for the same time.

I tried to be very fancy (41 years ago) and made a luncheon consisting of hollowed out tomatoes stuffed with tuna salad, deviled eggs, and some kind of cheese straws. Considering the amounts my husband eats, he probably went out to the nearest fast food place to get "real" lunch.
Haven't hollowed out another tomato since then
My first turkey I left the bag of giblets back there under the Pope's nose and I did explode some Pyrex cooking peas on the top of the stove.
