Video
"Where's that thing gonna land?"
It landed about 30 feet from our trailer. It was a red-hot bicycle wheel with blades attached to the spokes to help the spin and the lift.
It was AWESOME to watch, but I would have preferred that he shot it off a little further down wind (or add a chute).

On the rocket, check out the delay between the final blast and the sound of the BOOM. That thing was way way up there.

Dave,
This rocket was a prototype and it did have a parachute in the nose cone, however it became tangled when one of the motors broke off at the top of the trajectory.
Ouch..... it could have hurt
Thanks for posting the video!

I'm not sure whose video it is. I'm afraid I can't give credit where it's due.
Did Jay make the video? Anyone know?
