I would look at Mobil Suites. They have about the best insulation package on the market ( UV rating )and can be ordered with double glass windows. The price savings of utilities should help offset the price of the unit if you are a full timer.

We have a Fleetwood Regal AX6BSQS that we recently started full-timing in and it's proving to be a very adequate unit. The comparable 2008 model is called a 365TSSA. The only basic difference from ours is that they have done away with the extra slide in the bedroom and put a full closet along the front. The layout places the enclosed bathroom downstairs thereby making the bedroom to be extra roomy with plenty of room for a king size bed and still room to move around. We're extremely happy with ours and would recommend anyone looking into a full-time unit to check them out.

Oh, I love this question...YES! Newmar..built by the Mennonites, built solid, no junk - expense if new, but we bought 9 yr. old used. It was like new and in great condition. People who spend that type of money usually take good care of them. If you're on a budget get a Newmar, but look for used. The good deals are out there - especially now with the price of gas going up - lots of people are dumping them. We got a steal and LOVE it.

I second this vote! We have an 01 Newmar Mountain Aire. It is gorgeous and is like walking into a home. Ladymc53 is right.

There are units, mostly mentioned above that are considered "fulltime" units. Do a search and I'm sure you'll find threads. Also consider a diesel TV. I know that with the cost of fuel these days that may be a tuff choice. But they are built to tow. I wouldn't trade mine for any gasser. JMHO

I second the Mobile Suites, we did our research and found they have more fresh, black and gray water storege, large basement, double payne windows, king size bed, 3 1/4 inch walls, extra insulation, shut off switch for the battery, etc. Many features that most models do not have, these have come in handy, we did not realize what good extras it has, until we RVed with others who do not have them. Sure it is more costly, but well worth it if you full time. Ours is an 2005 and now other models may have added to their units. Yes, they cost more, but you get what you pay for, just depends on what your needs and wants are. I know they will work with you on the sticker price, so if you find one, make them deal with you or better yet, try to find a used one. We have had good luck with ours. The Elite Suites have granite countertops, and only adds to the weight. The Select Suites are a step below the Mobile Suites, this may interest you. Good Luck!

Yup - what ladymc53 said! Look for a good used used Newmar Mountain Aire or Kountry Aire. Just make sure you have the truck for it - they are heavy.
