I have a question for well travelled rvers. I am retiring in less than a month, and the DW and I would like to go somewhere and set for a least a month doing nothing but sight seeing and recuperating from 37 years of employment, thankgiving, christmas and all the other pressures of living. Could someone suggest a place to go camping in south texas or at least some place warmer than memphis, tn.? Thanks

I would recommend sitting on the beach on South Padre Island.

Emerald Beach RV Park, Navarre, Fl. We stayed there and they're on our list as the place to stay when you're around Pensacola. Right on the bay with a little beach, etc. Relaxing and quiet but close to Pensacola if you want to go sightseeing, culture things, etc.

Tombstone Territories rv park a few miles from Tombstone AZ. Very nice park with quite a few things to do in the area - Kartcher Caverns, Ft. Huachuca's museums, San Pedro riparian sanctuary, Bisbee with it's antique shops, rock shops, and Copper Queen mine, Tucson with it's museums and restaurants, Mexico and it's shopping and beaches. Weather's good this time of year, too! Amazing sunsets.
