Jeff,

Will you please call parts and find out the dealers cost on this and sell it to him for that so we make some money, he will have to pay shipping and taxes as well and get them installed himself. You know the drill find out the customer cost so you can let him know the break we are giving him and it is just a reduce cost. LOL You will have to just send it through the email when you get the prices unless he is in the system already.

Thanks,

JD

Lots of opinions here and I'll try not to repeat. Everyone for the most part is loyal to the brand they purchased, me included. We started with a WinnieBrave in 02 and now have an 04 HR Endeavor. Went through the same as you upgrading from a gas to DP. Would have purchased another Winnie in a second but liked the HR better for a variety of reasons. We have had HR since new and picked her up from the factory. Problems, yes a few early on, but nothing that could not be tended to easily by the dealer. Monaco stood by their produce and I continue to get good tech support for any questions I may have about this and that. You'll like the quality of an HR product coming from Winnie, but the Tiffs are great products too. Comes down to personal preference, nothing more. Good luck. See ya on the road.

We had a 2003 Fleetwood DP and it literally fell apart in 3 years and the total lack of customer service or concern from Fleetwood, left a very sour taste in our mouth. We went to HR and found a totally different product. The quality of house materials is 1000X better than those used in the Fleetwood, the workmanship was 100X better and the customer service has been above reproach. Monaco also uses a proprietary chassis and we found the ride much better than the Freightliner that was under the Fleetwood. We will never recommend another Fleetwood DP to anyone but will recommend a Monaco product anytime.

THANKS! You all have been so nice and I appreciate the time and information. We are going to check out the HR's and Tiffins. We are really glad we checked here before getting into a Fleetwood.

Comparing a Fleetwood to a HR, is like comparing a hamburger to a steak. Go for the HR! Or, take a better look at the Tiffin Phaeton. I read where many get them for about 26% off MRSP, so about what the others cost and the Tiffin DP offers much more. JMHO.

The three top rated for customer service are Monaco, Winnebago, and Tiffin.
Find the floorplan you like and buy one level up so you will not get the "wants" in a few years. Moving from an 06 already will be a big $$ hit. Good luck

kimette,

We own a Newmar so we're not biased by our purchase.

Do yourself a big favor and get the HR.

Kim, The concern you mentioned about HR, I've had with Fleetwood. It got to the point where I couldn't trust the coach anymore so I got rid of it! In Fleetwoods defense they gladly fixed everything that went wrong no charge, but I got tired of all the summer downtime! John

Lots of choices out there - keep in mind that HR and Monaco come off the same assembly line - the differences are very, very small - difference front windshield, my Monaco has a computer tray built into the dash - dash is a platinum color - can't see much else. Pricing is up to you - I bought mine from DeMartini and got it about 25% off - 2008 Diplomat and have had ZERO, absolutely ZERO problems. On our way back from Florida now and getting about 8 mpg towing a 2004 Nissan Titan (5,500 lbs).
