Hi: The differences between the North American and European RV's are many in spite of the fact T@B is here. I have heard of a new one called TAG but have not seen it and there are others. While I like my T@B, I would like to see the Super T@B in the U.S. It is slightly larger than the T@B but not much. Bill
I gave up trying to read it with all the caps in the wrong places.

The amazing thing is that People Here are so arrogant and Ignorant to Think that We are In the Forefront of Everything when actually Our "High" Standards are a Joke to Most of the Rest of the world!
While We are Putting Down "Chinese Junk", Europe is Forging ahead with Green Technology that Most North Americans haven't even Learned Exists!
Will we Catch Up, Doubtful! Will we Change Our perception of Ourselves , Yes , but the Education Process is going to be a Painful Lesson !
Sorry For The Tirade!
You are most welcome. I thoroughly agree with you. Here I am going to be ready for a new truck to take to Alaska in a couple of years. & the pick up trucks are wider and higher. I wouldn't be able to fit one between my TC jacks to load. & how about loading casual stuff. You have to be 5'7" or taller for the truck bed sides to be below your shoulder. Pickup is no longer a true descriptor.
I wish it were practical to import European to go see 'the roads less travelled by'.
DW and I are currently traveling in Europe. The little caravans are everywhere and being towed by the tiniest cars you could imagine (we have only observed 2 pickup trucks on the road). The little motorhomes are 16-20 feet I would guess. I would love to see inside of the little rigs. I have noticed at the rv parks, along the autobahns, almost everyone has a considerable sized (often bigger than the rv) canvas room attached to both the trailers and the motorhomes. I am guessing the basic services are contained within the small units and the living areas are the canvas rooms. I am hopeful of finding a dealer to get some brochures and specifications. I have never observed an a/c on any of the units. I am guessing the weight is a large deterrent.
Rob is right... Some years ago one of my vendors told me the exact same thing... When I traveled to London some years ago on business it was confirmed... The rest of the world is not at all as backward as we thought and in the vast majority of instances are far more advanced than us in technology and other areas as well...
A very disturbing awakening

And that Les, is what is wrong with the "I don't need to travel out of the US, I have everything right here" mentality.
Unfortunately when we say something positive about another country we often get the ...unpatriotic, don't you love your country, love it or leave it response.
We have traveled extensively in 27 countries and RV'd in most of those. There is a lot to learn.
By traveling we have really learned what IS great about America!

I agree - I love traveling and seeing other things, but there is nothing I love hearing more than the "WELCOME HOME" from our customs agents when we pass back into HOME!
To like other places and give them their due, does not diminish how I feel about America!
