Anybody know what the price is in RGV for Tengo internet service at Encore parks? I believe it goes by the day, week or month, but I don't know what the charges are. Thanks.

I try to avoid Tengo, It's expensive and unreliable. Starting to use freebies.

Agree with vladimir 100%. Plus if you subscribe in one park any remaining time left on your service cannot be carried over to another on Tengo. We were informed it is park specific.

We used Tengo Net at our park in the RGV last winter (not Encore). It was about $30/month. Unfortunately it was not the best service and it was down a lot. Calling and complaining or asking for a refund for all the lost time was just frustrating and not worth the effort. The contract is between you and Tengo Net - the RV park is not at all involved.

Was just at a rv park with Tengo ---- $4.95 / day or $14.95 per week. Manager is a buddy of mine and I love his park but Tengo is expensive and a real PITA. With prepaid card (a week) I had to put in my access codes each time I went on the oomputer once it was turned off.

Having been there done that with Tengo Net, I would pass. I would rather go the the local library. Tengo Net sucks.

It's something like $4.95/day or $14.95 per week, and you can even subscribe for longer periods.
I camped at Lake Gaston in September, and was very pleased with Tengo -- and service at the park. While they'd said there was access at the store area, I was able to hookup, sign on etc., in my camper! I only tried a week of service, but was very pleased with connection/access. I don't have experience with any other Wi-Fi providers, so nothing to compare.
