During daylight, seeing the sights. Maybe a museum or two. We see what there is too see. Always ask at check-in what is around, as we have found a number of neat things that way as well.
Night time, reading, then sleeping.

Most of our camping centers around my hobby of free flight model airplanes. It's boondocking in a wide open space with a bunch of other like minded souls (my wife has other names for us flyers!).
We all have small motorcycles/ATV's to chase the planes and that in it's self is fun, too.

Well, according to normal forum protocol, I'm supposed to harp on you for being an anal ass and being so petty and without a life as to pick on other people's spelling. (MY favorite "pastime" too )
Instead, I snuck (is that a word?) back and done did re-edited my previous post. I does now no how to spell "pastime" correctly!
Learning new things is GOOD! (thumbs up)
Oh yeah, let's not forget that "grahamer" checker too.

Gee, Paul. The post was in jest and not a comment on anything you posted. I did include a smiley face so the normal ones knew I was just kidding around.
Too many CO fumes from those dangerous Buddy heaters you use!!??
(See? Another smiley. Still just kiddin' round', or not! )
As my wife and I have jobs that sometimes require 50 hours a week, when we go camping (oops, sorry RVing ... the great debate from another thread) we're just too exhausted to do anything. We vegetate! Most of our "camping" is weekends, so when Sunday rolls around, we're just beginning to get our energy back, just in time to go home and work on Monday again!
If we do have the energy, we canoe. We absolutely love the canoe, going on lakes especially, in those really shallow areas where motorboats can't get to! We've seen some really interesting things. Oh, my favorite pastime is retrieving fishing bobbers that other fishermen left hanging in trees, around stumps, and in the weeds where their motorboats can't get to! I've got quite an assortment of fishing bobbers now!
