I left a message with the campground. Waiting to hear back as well. We will be in for Friday/Saturday/Sunday. When we get a little closer, we will determine if Thursday is possible.

Hey all. Got an email from Cranej today and she told me about the rally. We're in if I can get the reservations. I left a message today, so I guess I'll wait for a phone call. Hopefully we can make this one, I'm looking forward to it.

BTW, what's this spaghetti all about....... I know Robo has had it- it must be good. But Rosie is Italian and makes killer homemade sauce! So..........

WOW, I think I just invited myself to your camper for spaghetti.

Mark

We had Scott over for dinner one night at Sampson and enjoyed his company! He took the leftovers home with him for a later meal. Eric puts sausage in his spaghetti sauce. Heck, if your wife makes great pancakes, I'm sure she can make some great sauce!

So, are we having a big pot luck for Sat, Aug 9??? We may be able to get reservations for that in their pavilion. Or we can stick close to our sites...such as next to Mark's site since he has ALL that room!

Potluck? We should find out from everyone once they're signed up with a reservation. For me (us) I'd be game for taking advantage of Tall Pines Catering BBQ Service ! ! ! !

I'm liking the idea of letting them do the cooking too.

That sounds great to me too! Once I get settled in (hopefully this weekend), I'll post their catering menu and their services forms linked to this thread.

Now, time to go tackle the rush hour traffic to DC. Lots of ice on the roads this morning.

Ok I sent a email to the campground letting them know that we were in. Now I will just wait for the official communication with them, then we will let you know our site number.
Looks like about 200 miles & 3 1/2hrs

Hmmmmm?

Oh my. The Internet is still working! Hah!

Well, due to the diligence of Mark and Joanne we are moving forward. Let's see. Two Canadiens, a pair of Cranes (the human kind, not birds!) and a tire guy and Eagles fanatic are all in. Oh, even a stuffy old Robocop. It is scary.

Gotta run. Seems like inertia, gravity and plain stupidity keep drivers plowing into each other all day long. Job security I suspect.
