Our old dishwasher wasn't doing it's job very well and our glasses were getting so bad you could hardly see through them. We got a new dishwasher, and in reading it's documentation (a novel activity) I found where it said to get rid of the spotting put a cup filled with white vinegar in the bottom then run the glasses through a regular cycle. They came out crystal clear! So, white vinegar just may do the trick.

Thanks for all of your comments/suggestions.

I used Jet Dry on a cloth and rinsed with water and followed it up with The Solution (it's a waterless RV/Car spray and protectant). I am happy with the results.

50% White Vinegar and 50% distilled water. Wipe it on with a sponge and give a couple of minutes and it should wipe right off.

Next time, if you suspect the sprinkler will nail your coach. Place an inverted bucket over the sprinkler head and weight it with a big rock. This way you won’t have to alter the sprinkler system and your coach will not be damaged. Everyone will be happy. I was at a campground that actually would come to your site and do the bucket trick for you on request.

I use Dri Wash N Guard and don't have any trouble with water spots on any of our vehicles.

Susan, our coach was covered in water spots and stains when we purchased it. I had to machine polish the entire thing to get it where I was happy with it(boy that's a lot of real estate). I carry a bottle of 3-M Imperial Hand Glaze with me and whenever I see a spot that I don't like I grab the hand glaze. Works very well but you have to stay on top of it and not let them go too long. Same with bird droppings. Bird droppings are especially bad because of the acidity in them. It will acid burn the paint in a heart beat. Wipe it off as soon as possible. Mike.

Vinegar will remove most spots but will not remove them after the surface has been waxed. For some strange reason, the wax seems to drive the spot into the paint and heavy buffing with some sort of cutting agent will be needed to restore the surface. Ask me how I know.
