Attention Bicycle Riders! We're booked on site 114 at Maumee Bay Stat Park (Toledo area) Sept. 26-28.

We've never been but have heard there are some great biking trails. The 25th is Tony's birthday so I thought we'd go camping! What better way to celebrate!?!?

So if anyone is interested...we'll see you there!

Mel, Maumee is a wonderful place for biking. They have nice paved bike trails, one of them goes right along the water line of Lake Erie. Sounds like you guys will have a great time. Wish we could go but I am not sure what we will be doing in September yet.

Guess what we just bought????????
Nope, not a new RV, but we did purchase a small foldable boat.
We were so inspired by Tom & Marge's Zodiac at Bulltown, that I've been looking since we returned home.
It's a 12 foot porta-bote, used of course, but new to us. We'll be able to place it on the roof rack for transport.
We will need to get a small engine eventually, but I am very excited to have gotten one.
We are going to Lexington next week to pick it up. Gotta start planning some camping near lakes where we can put it in the water.
I tell ya, this camping hobby sure is getting expensive....lol.
