Freezing rain predicted for today, Sunday, through the next four days for parts of Oklahoma, including the western part. I-40 will probably be treacherous. Be careful out there.

At least this one is predicted. Most of the time, the storms just pop up out of no where and spread havoc all over that area without little or no warning.

I've been watchin' this one for the past day, deciding whether or not to travel. Coming out of Northern Wisconsin - We're not going - not now - maybe the end of next week.

Good idea, I-44 is also under a freezing rain warning and at this time its hard to know how far south it will dip. It does seem to be using I-44 for guidance.
As for predictability, I pulled into Tulsa last December to wait out a forecast 2" snowfall. It turned into an all time record and I was there 4 days, but I wasn't caught somewhere without a place to light.

Absolutely wait it out! I spun off the road twice in my toad last year out in the middle of nowhere at relatively slow speeds. No damage, but pretty scary and lucky I wasn't driving the MH.
