I do not like dark liquor but my dad always added a littel George Dickel and it was really good in eggnog.

Grandma Sarah's Egg Nog

Take one pound sugar and pour over same:
1 pint whiskey
1/2 pint rum
1/4 pint brandy
Let stand for 3 hours.

Take yolks of 9 eggs and beat well. Stir the liquor into yolks slowly.
Add 2 quarts vanilla ice cream and mix well.

Enjoy

I guess I must be the only one here not to like mychrissy's eggnog! It's way to strong for me to drink, plus it's just to much for just me. My DH doesn't like eggnog at all so I just do without.

Edit: I forgot to add that I can't drink rum, no matter how small the amount I get a horrible headache from it.
